Data Switching

In the present data switching environment there are a number of different types and delivery methods available to businesses, these include but are not limited to Edge switches, Backbone Switches and Core Switches, they employ a number of specific interfacing technologies such as optical fibre, 10Gigabit Ethernet and stacked, managed proprietary connections. Another Key factor to data switching in the ever changing data environment is that of POE (Power over Ethernet) which in itself poses other issues that we at Gea-IT are fully versed and conversant with.
